History

Lorin Eden Elementary School is a Kindergarten through Sixth Grade elementary school located within the Hayward Unified School District. We provide a variety of instructional programs to prepare students for the rigors of middle school and beyond. The district's emphasis is on a well-balanced and rigorous core curriculum at all grade levels. Instructional programs are aligned with the California Common Core Standards. Our vision is to create positive pathways of success for every student, and prepare them for their future academic journey of learning

Lorin A. Eden Elementary was founded in 1964 and has been a staple of the Mt. Eden area since it was built. Though small, we are known for being a tight knit family where teachers and families commit their careers and children to learning.
